A cutter 8 for a rotary mower pivoted by pin 12 to blade spring 11 has an inverted U-shaped bend 19 transverse to the cutting edge which rests against the flange 5 of the mower. A hole 16 in the blade 8 engages a groove 15 in the pin 12.
