Abstract

1,202,274. Hydraulic accumulators. INSTITUT F R FÍRDERTECHNIK LEIPZIG. Sept. 6, 1967, No. 40776/67. Heading F1P. In an hydraulic drive for a hoist lift, wherein a pump transfers fluid between a lifting cylinder and an accumulator, the accumulator comprises a single vertical pipe or a plurality of vertical pipes 1 inter-connected at their adjacent ends, the lower end(s) being connected to the pump and the upper end(s) to a gas supply 3. Each pipe contains a floating piston 2 for separating the liquid from the gas. In operation the accumulator is conveniently located in a lift shaft.
