Abstract

Moulds for building. - Mould apparatus for casting reinforced-concrete vessels comprises an outer mould sheeting 4, Fig. 1, made in removable sections, a permanent stationary framework or dock 1, and adjustable means, such as sliding rods 5, or pivoted arms, for adjustably connecting the section 4 of the mould sheeting with the framework or dock walls. If required when the lower part of the vessels are cast, the lower mould sections may be transferred for use in the upper parts. Fig. 3 shows a modified arrangement for casting a vessel in an inverted position. The sides A of the vessel are cast between an inner mould B and outer boards 4 secured by wedges 7, 8, between the boards and framework 1. The wedges cover two or more sheeting boards, or the joints of two successive rows of boards placed between columns of the framework.
