Abstract
1,201,906. Making rotors. ROTAX Ltd. 9 Feb., 1968 [22 Feb., 1967], No. 8443/67. Heading B3A. [Also in Division H2] Damping windings are formed on the toothed pole faces of a salient pole rotor of a dynamoelectric machine by depositing copper on the pole faces, e.g. by a plasma spray gun or an electroplating process, and then machining the rotor to the required diameter so as to leave spaced and axially extending damping bars 22, Fig. 4c, the bars being joined at their ends by copper deposited on the pole end faces.
