Abstract
1,201,784. Circuit assemblies. PERIVALE CONTROLS CO. Ltd. 19 Dec., 1968 [27 Oct., 1967], No. 49059/67. Heading H1R. A circuit assembly comprises three separable units containing respectively a relay, an electronic trigger circuit and a socket, adapted for plug-in connection to one another in the above order with the socket being adapted for plugging the assembly into a larger unit. The bottom end of a transparent housing containing the relay is provided with first and second groups of twelve and two pins respectively which plug into corresponding sockets in the upper end of a second unit housing containing a Schmitt trigger circuit. The lower end of the trigger housing is provided with first and second groups of twelve and four pins respectively for engagement with the socket unit which latter plugs into a larger equipment unit by first and second groups of twelve and four pins respectively. The groups of four pins on the trigger unit and socket units enable the trigger circuit to be connected in circuit with the larger unit, two of the pins providing the supply and the other two being connected to one of the transistors of the trigger. The two pin groups of the relay unit is connected to the energizing coil of the relay. A current may be switched by the complete assembly of relay, trigger and socket in a variety of applications.
