Squares. - A test square consists of a cylinder a provided with a depending base ring d adapted to rest on a table or surface plate, and with a testing edge h between grooves f, g. The square is provided also with a rule k which may be adjusted in a slot j by means of a screwed spindle n for the purpose of bringing one of the divisions into alinement with the centre of an article which is to be marked off.
