Abstract

1,201,571. Photographic colour processing. FUJI SHASHIN FILM K. K. Dec.14, 1967 [Dec.14, 1966], No.56901/67. Heading G2C. Bleaching accelerators for colour processing silver halide materials are amines of formula:- wherein A is C 2-4 alkylene, and n is 0 or an integer. The amines are applied in a concentration of 0À3-50 g.l<SP>-1</SP> after colour development, and before or during bleach-fixing using a Fe(III)-EDTA complex salt. When the amine is in the bleachfixing bath the pH is 6À4-7À1. Preferred amines are those wherein A is ethylene and n is 0-3 or 100.
