Abstract

1,200,868. Suspended furnace roofs. KELLER OFENBAU G.m.b.H. 16 May, 1969 [3 Sept., 1968], No. 25003/69. Heading F4B. In the roof of a ceramic kiln each brick 1 is suspended from a girder 2 by a suspension device 3 comprising two identical brackets 3a engaging slot-like grooves 4 in the brick and the lower flanges of the girder 2. A pair of cramps 5 provided with slots (see Fig. 4) rest on the inclined faces 6 of the brick and engage the brackets 3a to prevent them from coming apart.
