Abstract

1,199,626. Valves. L. P. A. BESSON. 6 Oct., 1967 [18 May, 1967], No. 45925/67. Heading F2V. A valve for controlling a series of motors V connected to pairs of diametrically opposed radial ports 28, 28a, has a piston 3 provided with longitudinal bores 24, 25 which are constantly in communication with pump P and reservoir R respectively, and which have ports 24a, 24b, 25a, 25b which, by vertical and rotary movement of the piston, can be registered selectively with pairs of ports 28, 28a to effect movement of a selected motor in either direction. If it is desired to use the valve with one or more single acting motors a screw is inserted in each tapped bore 23 corresponding with a single acting motor to co-operate with an abutment 22 which prevent alignment of supply port 24b with port 28.
