Candles and night-lights.-Machines for moulding candles, night-lights, soaps, edible fats, &c., of the type comprising moulds 1, 2, 3 fixed in the top and bottom plates TP, B of a cooling-box WB are adapted for moulding articles of different sizes by a change of the moulds 1, 2, 3 and the pistons P. (1) In order to provide for the use of shorter moulds 3, adapters A are used and are fitted into the bottom plate B in like manner to the moulds 1, 2 of ordinary length. (2) A series of moulds of different diameters is provided, the moulds being formed with flanges f at the top all of the same diameter d to enable them to be used with the same top-plate.
