Sanitary pails and the like. - To prevent sheetmetal buckets of taper form from jamming when nested, each is provided with sheetmetal projections secured to its sides below the top roll or bead. Each projection is stamped to form ridges B', B<2>, and a perforation with flange b, b<1>. The flange engages a hole in the side of the bucket, and is turned over on the inside in eyeleting fashion. The lower part of the proj.ection is secured at k by riveting. welding, &c.
