Abstract
1,197,171. Two-position indicators. AIRLOG Ltd., and G. V. BOND. 17 Aug., 1967 [23 May, 1966], No. 22991/66. Heading G4F. [Also in Divisions G1 and H3] A two-state indicator for responding to the output from a circuit detecting when an input signal exceeds predetermined valves of both voltage and pulse duration (see Divisions G1 and H3) incorporates a spring-biased rotatable disc 17 which is normally held against the bias by a magnetically actuable arm 13 to show a green section in a window in the front of the device. When the detected signal is applied to the electromagnet winding 12, the armature 13 is attracted and releases the disc, which rotates to show a red section in the window. Excessive rotation is prevented by a stop member (23, Fig. 3) which can subsequently be turned to reset the indicator.
