Abstract

1,195,984. High phosphorus iron alloy. G. BAUKNECHT G.m.b.H. ELEKTROTECHNISCHE FABRIKEN. Oct. 31, 1967 [Nov. 9, 1966], No. 49360/67. Heading C7D. [Also in Division F4] Cast iron and a greater weight of ferrophosphorus are fused in a cupola furnace and the fused mass is cast to form a core for a thermal storage heater. 40% cast iron scrap and 60% ferrophosphorus may be used. The ferrophosphorus used may contain 20 to 25% phosphorus, 1% sulphur and 74 to 79% iron.
