Abstract

1,195,053. Perspective drawing appliance. C. G. WILKINS. 22 April, 1968 [22 April, 1967], No. 18645/67. Heading B6P. An appliance for making perspective drawings comprises three straight edges or arms 15 pivoted together at 16, and guide members 17 slidably engaged by the arms, the guide members for the two upper arms being pivotally mounted on the drawing board 10 at points corresponding to two of the vanishing points 14 and the guide for the lower arms being adjustable along an arcuate slot 22, the centre of which corresponds to the third vanishing point 14. The guide member 17 for the upper arms each comprises rollers 18 on a plate 19 pivotable about a pin or a suction member by which it is secured to the board. The guide member for the lower arm also has rollers engaged by the arm. In a modified form of guide member, the pivoted plate 19 is adjustably mounted in a slot on a bar clipped to the edges of the board.
