Abstract

1,063,919. Dental units. CHIRANA, ZAVODY ZDRAVOTNICKE TECHNIKY OBOROVY PODNIK. March 3, 1966 [March 4, 1965], No. 9318/66. Heading A5R. A dental unit includes a housing 11 within which an instrument carriage is mounted so that it can slide between operative and inoperative positions, the housing including a cover 9 secured to a pin by which it is hinged to the base of the housing, a lever 2 at one or each side of the housing also being secured to the pin and being connected to the instrument carriage so that the opening of the cover brings forward the carriage to its operative position. As shown, the instrument carriage (drawn partly in dotted lines) is secured at each side of the housing to a member 6 attached to a slide member 7 moving between horizontal guides 10, the member 6 being connected by a draw bar 5 to the lever 2. The cover 9 includes an instrument table.
