Abstract

1,193,383. Well-logging. MARATHON OIL CO. 23 Jan., 1968, No. 47956/69. Divided out of 1,193,381. Heading H4D. The description is substantially the same as in the parent Specification 1,193,381 (see Division H4) but the claims relate to a borehole-logging transducer unit comprising three transducers each having an active axis and mounted on a block with their active axes aligned along respective mutually perpendicular lines which intersect at a point on the surface of the block, whereby the transducers can be used together for transmitting or receiving at said point an acoustic signal having a particular direction of propagation.
