Abstract
1,193,061. Fe-P alloys. ALBRIGHT & WILSON (MFG) Ltd. May 1, 1967 [May 9, 1966; Dec. 19, 1966], Nos. 20491/66 and 56606/66 Heading C7A. [Also in Division F4] The thermal reservoir of a storage heater is contructed, at least in part, of an alloy comprising:- P 2-15% C less than 5% with less than 15% in total of P and Si, the balance, apart from incidental impurities such as Si, V, Co, Ni, Cr and Mn, being iron. The reservoir may be made by adding ferrophosphorus to a grey cast iron melt which is then cast.
