Fig. 7 shows the front plate of an aeroplane body having a hole 3 for the passage of the engine shaft. The plate has bulges 4 arranged as shown and is flanged at the edges. Holes may be formed in the bulges for lightness. Where flutings or corrugations are formed they do not extend to the edges of the plates.
