Abstract

[Also in Division G1] An electrical connector forming part of a resistivity meter (see Division G1) comprises two side plates 14 fixed to a block 15 of insulating material secured to a bracket 16 for slidable mounting on a support, and four needles 2, 3, 4, 5, Fig. 5, for contacting the surface of a body (1, Fig. 1, not shown), the electrical connection to the needles being effected by leads attached to terminals 22, the latter contacting conductive springs 20 which pass through the eyes of the needles. The needles are held in spaced apart relationship by grooved, insulating supports 17 and a pressure member 18, Fig. 4.
