Abstract

1,191,418. Terminal blocks. HEGO-ELECTRIC G.m.b.H. 10 Dec., 1968 [17 April, 1968], No. 58524/68. Heading H2E. A clip-on terminal assembly, which provides a connection through an aperture 5 of a case or housing 10, comprises an insulating housing 1, an angular metal strip connector member 2 and a clip 11. The connector member is provided with a screw terminal 6 for connection to an incoming wire whilst the internal circuitry housed in the case 10 is soldered, crimped or plugged on to a tag 3. The connector strip 2 is further provided with a hole 8 to retain a socket 9 for receiving a test probe. In other embodiments the test probe terminal may be carried on a separate arm retained by the screw 7, the screw terminal 6 may be replaced by a tag as at 3, and the connector member 2 may be a straight strip. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 891,610.
