Abstract

1,191,051. Container. ANDERSEN & BRUUN (ENGLAND) Ltd. 11 Dec., 1968 [15 Jan., 1968], No. 2178/68. Heading B8D. An aluminium packaging container has a cylindrical side wall consisting of two concentric layers of aluminium united by heat sealing, the outer layer being of small thickness compared to the inner layer and having decoration preprinted on to its outer surface. The preprinting may be applied by the Rotogravure or Flexograph method. The uniting of the layers is effected by the application of heat active adhesive to the inner surface of the pre-printed foil and applying the foil with its heated surface to the previously heated rotating container as described in Specification 1,129,022.
