Abstract

1,188,685. Foot-rings for containers. CORNELIUS CO. 8 May, 1967 [22 Aug., 1966], No. 21375/67. Heading B8D. A liquid container has a shock-resistant elastomoric skirt 12, 13 at each end as shown, the skirts being secured to the container, e.g. by cement. The container may be of stainless steel and have a removable cover assembly 19. The skirts may have strengthening webs 35, 36, and the upper skirt have openings 20 forming handles 36a. A drain groove 35a is provided in the lower skirt.
