[Also in Division G1] In a turbine liquid flow meter, the measuring signal from a pulse transmitter 8, which is determined by the speed of the rotor 3 and hence the rate of liquid flow, is corrected by a signal from an electro-mechanical transducer 6, e.g. a piezo-electric crystal, this signal being derived as a result of axial movement of the rotor on a thrust bearing 5 due to the flow of liquid.
