1,127,116. Measuring pressure electrically. BECKMAN INSTRUMENTS Inc. March 28, 1966 [June 28, 1965 (2)], No. 13543/66. Heading G1N. [Also in Divisions A5 and H4] A single transducer is used to provide independent measurements of ambient pressure and flow velocity of a fluid. In the Fig. 3 embodiment a barium titanate transducer 30 in the fluid is coupled through R. F. chokes 150, 151 (which block ultrasonic signals used in determining the flow velocity by a Doppler technique) to a charge amplifier 155 for indicating the Piezo-electric D.C. voltages generated by the transducer in accordance with the ambient pressure.
