1349054 Measuring mass-flow rate PLESSEY CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [30 Jan 1970] 4616/71 Heading G1A The mass-flow rate through air induction motor driven pump is measured by determining the quotient of signals proportional respectively to motor slip and motor speed. The signal proportional to speed may be developed by a photoelectric arrangement producing pulses from a driven disc at a rate dependent on motor speed and the slip signal by a comparison of the frequency of the pulses thus produced with that of the A.C. driving the induction motor.
