1,184,574. Photographic processing apparatus. H. KOHLER. June 29, 1967, No.30021/67. Heading G2A. A photographic developing apparatus comprises a bath 1 removably resting on a reservoir tank 2, liquid being pumped from the tank into the bath through an inlet 3, and back again through an outlet 7. The cross-section of outlet 7 is substantially smaller than that of inlet 3. An overflow 8 at outlet 7 determines the liquid level 9 in the bath. Sheets to be processed are passed into the bath between guide plates 21, and guided by a further plate 23 to a pair of transport rollers 24, 25 which also have a squeegee effect. One roller dips into the liquid, so that if the apparatus is re-started after stoppage, any crystalline residues formed on the rollers is immediately washed away before the sheet passes through.
