Abstract

1,184,430. Brake disposition. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. 8 Nov., 1967 [11 Nov., 1966], No. 50763/67. Heading B7H. In a pneumatic braking system on a commercial motor vehicle wherein the apparatus comprises a pressure regulator, an antifreeze device, a brake valve and a compressed air reservoir, two or more of these components are mounted together, for accessibility, on a support attached to the vehicle frame. The support may comprise a pair of hollow or dished holding members 3 secured to the vehicle frame 1 and to which are attached brackets 4 upon which are mounted compressed air reservoirs 5 and 6 secured by straps 7. The support also carries a pressure regulator 9, anti-freeze device 10, dual circuit brake valve 11 and dual circuit safety valve 12. Overflow or relief valves 15 are disposed on the reservoir 6. The space between the members 3 is closed at the top by a removable plate 13 secured by wing nuts.
