Cables. - Two-core cables made as described in the parent Specification have the conductors spiralled around one another to neutralize inductive effects. Fig. 2 shows in plan a mechanism attached to the covering machine shown in Fig. 5 of the abovementioned Specification. The haul-off wheel e and winding-up drum fare mounted in the revolving frame g driven synchronously with the covering rollers by the wheel h. If the cable comprises more than one pair of conductors, the various pairs are also spiralled round one another.
