Abstract
1,180,355. Switch actuation. DANFOSS A.S. 30 Sept., 1968 [14 Oct., 1967], No. 46297/68. Heading H1N. Snap-action switches 2, 3, 4, Figs. 1, 2, are actuated sequentially through spring arm extensions 19-21, Fig. 3, of a pivoted actuating lever 10. The arms 19-20 are formed from a single spring strip 14 and have different lengths and stiffnesses whereby the plunger 7 of the switch 2 is first actuated by the short stiff arm 19 while the arms 20, 21 continue to bend until the forces rise sufficiently to actuate the remaining switches 3, 4 in sequence. One or more switches 5 may be actuated by a second spring arm 15 or by the underside of one of the arms 19-21 when the lever 10 is moved in the opposite direction.
