Abstract

1,178,314. Electromagnetic Switches; electromagnetic actuators. DEWRANCE CONTROLS Ltd. 18 Set., 1988 [26 Sept., 1967], No. 43753/67. Headings H1N and H1P. Ah electromagnet has a coil 4 surrounding a core 5 which has an extension 7 projecting away from the coil and adjacent a magnetic reed contact device 12 operable by " stray " flux after the plunger armature 8 of the electromagnet is attracted to the core 5 on energization of the coil 4. The contact unit may be connected in an indicator lamp circuit (not shown) to indicate armature movement and opening of a valve 10, 11 controlled by the armature 8.
