Abstract

1,261,900. Remanent relays. EGYESULT IZZOLAMPA ES VILLAMOSSAGI RESZVENYTARSASAG. 17 Jan., 1969 [26 Feb., 1968], No. 2924/69. Heading H1N. A remanent relay has a sealed magnetic reed contact unit with a movable contact reed 5, at least part of which is remanent, and a fixed magnetically soft reed 2 extending through a permanent magnet 3. The coil 11 is surrounded by a flux return shield 12 and mounted on a former 10. The coil may alternatively be wound on to the glass envelope (1) of the contact unit. The coil 11 is pulsed in opposite directions to effect operation and release of the contacts. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 941,653.
