Abstract
117,757. Daws, H. W. Nov. 7, 1917. Supports for stove bodies.-A stand for a spirit stove consists of two cylinders a, b, of which the inner is the deeper and forms the stand proper, while the outer is rotatable upon it in order to regulate the air flowing through the two rows of apertures a<1>, b<1> in each of the cylinders. The inner cylinder preferably projects above and below the outer cylinder, and is supported on it by the grooved parts c, d, which may be above the apertures a<1>, b<1>, and may be pressed outwards instead of inwards as shown. In modifications, the lower edge of the outer ring b is pressed into the groove c, or enters a U-section channel formed by turning outwards the lower edge of the inner cylinder a.
