A filter network satisfying a certain mathematical relationship in respect of its transfer function described in the Specification, comprises a ladder network supplied by a signal source e 0 and terminated by a resistance R, certain of the shunt branches, viz. C1, C2, being connected to signal sources α 1 Àe 0 and α 2 Àe 0 . As shown, the network is constructed to have a transfer function indicated by the attenuation curve I of Fig. 2.
