Fn passing signals are connected to a common transmit amplifier C having a low input impedance, a resistor of value R is connected, as in Fig. 1, in series with each filter to match its output impedance. If the filters are of different characteristic impedance, matching may be obtained by the use of series and shunt resistors, as in Fig. 2.
