[Also in Division H2] In a cable-cutting machine, a cable 11 is fed by serrated guide rollers 12-20, to pressure rollers or wheels 22, 23, 24 which, respectively, press the cable into a groove (38) on the block (39), press the cable against a circular blade 41 which makes an incision, and hold the cable against the wedge-like edge of a disc 43 which widens the incision. The top rollers, pressure rollers, blade and disc are adjustable to accommodate different gauge cables. Disc 43 may be replaced by a wedge.
