[Also in Division G3] To prevent temperature overshoot of a plate 11, particularly used for synthetic yarn heating by an element 15 controlled by a thermistor 13 through a relay circuit, a part 15a of the heater supplies heat directly to the thermistor. The element in two spaced sections is wound on, and is sandwiched between heat-insulating strips 14, 18, 19 which are backed by a metal plate 21.
