1,172,596. Antiozonant masterbatches. UNIVERSAL OIL PRODUCTS CO. 20 March, 1967 [21 March, 1966], No.12925/67. Headings C3P and C3Q. A masterbatch for incorporation into natural or synthetic rubber comprises from 40% to 90% of rubber polymer and 60% to 10% of an antiozonant. The masterbatch is preferably made by mixing SBR latex with a phenylene diamine antiozonant in the form of an emulsion, coagulating and drying. The masterbatch may also comprise two or more antiozonants or an additional antioxidant.
