1,171,500. Mineral-mining installation. GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA. 22 Dec., 1967 [28 Feb., 1967], No. 58362/67. Heading E1F. In a mineral-mining installation a winning m/c 1 provided with settable anchor props is coupled by rams to the rear of the loop of a scraper conveyer having rectilinear and curved sections arranged in the form of a U with one limb shorter than the other. A loading ramp 17 is associated with the front of said conveyer loop to facilitate passage of mined mineral from ahead of the ramp onto the conveyer. Alternate step wise advance of the machine and the conveyer is caused by appropriate actuation of the rams and the props.
