Abstract

A foldable domed shaped building comprises before folding a circular sheet of material 'comprising three series of pairs AA, CC and DD of congruent triangles having valley folds along their common bases 4, 7 and having ridge folds 8 and 9. The sheet has a hole B through which the unit is supported during erection. The sheet may comprise individual triangles of rigid material e.g. hard board or rigid P.V.C. secured together by rubber strips or secured to a flexible backing sheet of P.V.C.; or it may be paper faced polystyrene or polyurethane foam with fold impressed therein.
