Abstract

1,166,985. Clips. RHEIM INTERNATIONAL Inc. 24 May, 1968 [29 May, l967], No. 24806/68. Heading E2B. A fastener 1.0 comprises a generally U- shaped member the legs 11, 12 of which are deformable towards each other into encircling relation with an article C such as the mouth of a flexible container, the fastener being formed of wire of generally uniform cross-section providing one. substantially flat inner side 20 and a pair of opposite sides 21, 22 converging outwardly from the flat side 20. The cross section of the wire may be trapezoidal, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), in which the inner side is grooved.
