Composition fuel.-Anthracite, coke, lignite, and other fuel which is difficult to burn or of poor quality is treated with a composition made by mixing with water 65 parts of chloride of sodium, 1 of chloride of iron, 2 of sulphate of lime, 12 of ferric oxide, 10 of sodium bicarbonate, and 10 of tinctorial earths and extracts, and then heating the mixture to evaporate the water. The fine powder thus obtained is mixed with water and the mixture sprayed upon the anthracite, coke, or other fuel.
