Abstract

1,166,748. Earth-moving, bowl type scrapers. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. 27 June, 1967 [29 June, 1966], No. 29510/67. Heading E1F. The frame of a scraper elevator positioned at the mouth of the bowl of a bowl type scraper is supported at the top and bottom by members so engaging upper and lower guide means affixed to the side walls of the bowl that the frame may have a pivotal and linear movement with respect to the upper guide means and a movement haying both a horizontal and vertical components with respect to the lower guide means. A pivot pin 57 projecting horizontally from the upper part of each side of the frame 45 pivots in a block 58 slidable in a U channel 56 secured to the adjacent of the side walls 26 of the bowl to allow of the first specified movement. The second specified movement is obtained by rollers 54 on each side of the lower part of the frame engaging cam plates 59 on the side walls.
