A casement fastener comprises a catch 10 with a tongue pivotable on a bracket 11 mountable on a casement 12 and a slotted keeper 19 mountable on a fixed frame 17 of the casement the tongue of the catch being selectively engageable in one of the slots of the keeper to retain the casement in one of a number of open positions.
