In a fastener for locking doors in an opening in a frame 16 keepers 25, 26, having a surface 54 inclined to the face of the frame 16, are provided one on each side of the frame opening and a bar 20 rotatably mounted on the face of the door 15 is provided at each end with cam end members 23, 24 each having fingers 38 which when the door 15 is closed and the bar 20 is rotated, engage the surfaces 54 in the keepers 25, 26 by means of surfaces 39 to hold the door 15 closed. In a modification, Figs. 14-20 (not shown), the facing surfaces of the keepers and flanges 37 of the cam end members are inclined so as to engage one another when the door is closed.
