Abstract

1,164,574. EHT generators. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 28 March, 1968 [5 April, 1967], No. 15060/68. Heading H2F. [Also in Division H3] A deflection circuit for a cathode-ray tube comprising the series arrangement of a transistor 2 and thyristor 3, a constant voltage being applied to the gate of the thyristor 3, the circuit being controlled by pulses at the base of transistor 2. The constant voltage at the gate of thyristor 3 is such that in combination with the Zener voltage of the thyristor input, it is less than the maximum collectoremitter voltage of the transistor 2. A series effiiciency diode circuit or (as shown) a shunt efficiency diode circuit 6, 7 and EHT rectifier 11 is included.
