Abstract
1,164,345. Combined lead and collar. WALSALL COMPONENTS Ltd. 9 May, 1968 [24 May, 1967], No. 24102/67. Heading AIM. [Also in Division E2] A combined lead and collar comprises a strip of flexible material 15, e.g. of braided nylon, a loop 16 at one end, preferably stitched at (17), Fig. 3 (not shown), forming a collar whose size is adjustable by means of a fastening 10 which comprises a channel section bracket 11 having a base 12 with upstanding walls 13 supporting a pivotably mounted gripping element 14. In the engaged position, Fig. 2, the element 14 grips the loop 16, defining the required collar size, while in the released position, Fig. 3 (not shown) the looped end of the lead passes freely through the fastening 10, being thus adjusted to the required size.
