Abstract

1,163,623. Moulding concrete building elements. SKANSKA CEMENTGJUTERIET A.B. 7 Nov., 1966 [23 Nov., 1965], No. 49841/66. Heading B5A. A mould for large angular concrete building panels comprises side parts 24, 26, intermediate parts 28 and ends 34, 36, 38, 40. The side pieces 24, 26 are attached via turnbuckles 44, 46 to devices 48, 49, 50, 51 resting against the sides of the pit in which the moulding is carried out, these devices being capable of sideways movement through pistons 66 to swing the turnbuckle and release the pressure on the moulding. The ends of the mould 34, 36, 38, 40 are formed by vertical members which are held in place by telescopically adjustable devices 78 which can be released from the moulding by means adjacent the pit walls. The size of the moulding cavity can be varied by adjusting the length of the turnbuckles 44, 46 and of the telescopic adjusters 78. The mould sides and the base of the pit are preferably made of steel plate.
