Abstract

The concrete mould is used for pre-casting base plates to pre-fabricated housing or building unit cells. The mould partitions dividing individual units can be adjusted horizontally and vertically making the bases of variable size and thickness, the partitions and base plate together forming mobile caissons. The mould partitions are inverted T beams and a roller at the end of each beam allows horizontal movement while a hydraulic jack beneath each beam allows vertical adjustment. Walls can be placed and held in position vertically while the base is cast.
