Abstract

1,162,627. Detachable roofs. DR-ING h.c.F. PORSCHE KG. 14 June, 1968 [21 June, 1967], No. 28336/68. Heading B7B. A detachable roof 7 fitted between the windshield header and a roll yoke engages a U- shaped member forming part of either or both members. Transverse location is ensured by pins 42 depending from the roof stiffener 17 engaging a slot 40 in the header 12. Longitudinal movement of the roof member is effected by break-struts at the sides of the roof which may be formed of overlapping metal sheets or of synthetic material.
