Abstract

1,159,264. Conduit boxes. CROWN FITTINGS (WALSALL) Ltd. 8 Sept., 1967 [13 Sept., 1966], No. 40862/66. Heading H2E. An earthing connector comprising a metal annulus 10, having an L-shaped extension formed by strip 16 and arm 17, remote from the annulus 10, is sandwiched between the rim and a cover-plate 26 of a conduit box 11. The arm 17 is provided with a screwclamp terminal 18. The annulus 10 also includes a pair of apertured lugs 12 located diametrically so that screws 15 for the coverplate pass through them and are screwed into bosses 13 of the conduit box 11. Openings 22 and 23 in the conduit box are intended for cable entry.
